Our approach is as individual as the people we help
Valued by families and professionals alike
The experience and knowledge gained over the years has made HSLNEE a responsive, hard-working group of personnel committed to strengthening the family whatever its shape or size.
During 2018-19 a total of 164 children and 103 families were supported by HSLNEE with referrals from various sources including health visitors, social workers and self-referral.
HSLNEE is funded by the City of Edinburgh Council and benefits from the support of a range of companies, trusts, churches and schools, which is always greatly appreciated.
We’re here for you
HSLNEE run weekly groups in Leith to complement the core home visiting service: parents and carers can attend the Parents Early Education Partnership (Peep) Groups where they can meet others in similar circumstances and Baby Massage classes which are run in partnership with Dr Bell’s Family Centre.
We have also been piloting the ‘Big Hopes Big Futures’ campaign which supports parents and carers involvement in their child’s development, early learning and socialisation.
